Upgrade your 2011–2021 Subaru WRX STI to a modern standalone engine management system with the JD Tuning Haltech Nexus S3 Plug & Play ECU Package.
This package combines the Haltech Nexus S3 ECU with the appropriate Plug & Play jumper harness, allowing the S3 to integrate with the factory Subaru wiring while providing significantly more tuning capability, data logging, engine protection, and control than the factory ECU.
The Nexus S3 is the successor to Haltech’s Elite 2500 and features a powerful Nexus processor along with an internal 4-bar MAP sensor, onboard wideband controller, Wi-Fi, 128MB onboard data logging, dual knock control, advanced boost control, flex-fuel capability, launch control, traction control, anti-lag, torque management, and multi-level engine protection strategies.

Subaru STI Integration
When properly configured, the system retains the STI’s factory SI-Drive modes, allowing the factory controls to be incorporated into the Haltech calibration while opening the door to additional performance strategies and safety features.
Depending on the vehicle setup and sensors installed, the Nexus S3 can be configured for advanced engine protection strategies based on parameters such as fuel pressure, oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, boost pressure, lambda/AFR and more. Protection strategies can be configured to reduce boost, retard ignition timing, enrich the mixture, lower the RPM limit, or otherwise limit engine operation when a problem is detected.
Additional sensors and accessories may be required to utilize certain functions.
Perfect for modified, high-horsepower, race, and competition STI builds that have outgrown the capabilities of the factory ECU.
